Every Year Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Conducts Exams twice in the year for National Defense Academy (NDA). UPSC organizes the NDA Exam for selecting candidates to avail this program. For the second NDA exam of the year, the admit cards are released one or two weeks before the exam date 10th September 2018 on the official website of UPSC. The result will be declared in October 2018. Important Points Related to NDA 2018 Admit Card

  • Candidates have to bring the Admit Card with them in the Examination hall.
  • Without NDA Admit Card, Candidates are not permitted to attend the examination.

The Examination will be held at the following Centres : Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Allahabad, Bengaluru, Bareilly, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Dharwad, Dispur, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Jorhat, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji (Goa), Patna, Port Blair, Raipur, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Udaipur and Vishakhapatnam. Applicants should note that there will be a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each centers except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur. Allotment of Centres will be on the first-apply-first-allot basis and once the capacity of a particular centre is attained, the same will be frozen. Applicants, who cannot get a centre of their choice due to ceiling, will be required to choose a Centre from the remaining ones. Applicants are, thus, advised that they may apply early so that they could get a Centre of their choice.

Rules You Should Know Before Participating in the NDA Examination Hall

 

In every examination, there is a rule before participating in the examination hall. These rules are implied to reduce cheating possibilities and for secure examinations. Please follow the rules strictly or else you may not be able to participate in the examination.

Articles permitted inside Examination Hall

Candidates should know that they’re allowed to have a clipboard or a hard board on which there is nothing written. Candidates are allowed to carry a good quality H.B pencil for making responses on the answer sheet. Candidates can bring eraser, a pencil sharpener and a pen with black or blue ink.

2. Articles not permitted inside Examination Hall

There are some things that are strictly prohibited and are not allowed in the examination hall. The things that are not allowed to bring in the examination hall such as books, notes, electronics or any other type of mathematical and drawing instruments. Calculators, log tables, slide rules or loose sheets are not permitted in the examination.

3. There is a rule of Penalty for the Wrong Answer.

(i) In this penalty, there is a rule of negative marking. Whenever a candidate chooses a wrong answer, he geta penalty and one-third of the marks assigned to that question is deducted as penalty.

(ii) If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happens to be correct and there will be the same penalty as above for that question.
(iii) If a question is left blank i.e. no answer is given by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
